Zoo-Oru is a logo and icon system concept for a zoo based in Tokyo, Japan. It was hard to ignore that origami is heavily rooted in Japan’s history. Using the word “oru,” which means “to fold,” the name was created.

PRIMARY LOCKUP

The lion was chosen as the hero of this icon system because of the lion’s strong and solid look and stance. The logo’s colors are also influenced from the lion and used across the entire icon system for consistency. The word mark can also break away from the main lockup and be used own its own when necessary.
